JOHNSTOWN - It can be odd how when one thing is discovered other things tend to come under focus … that may be the case with the salaries meted out to executives of non-profit organizations in the county. Since the New York State Assembly under the direction of the Assembly Committee on Corporations Authorities and Commissions put the Fulton County Economic Development under the microscope for the compensation they and sister organization the Crossroads Incubator Corporation made to their top execs other entities are being looked at, some not so favorably. For instance retiring Executive Director Paul Nigra from Lexington Center was paid over 150 thousand dollars last year for guiding Fulton County’s largest single employer and in Montgomery County united Way Executive Director Lauren Bibby was paid 28 thousand five hundred dollars in 2008.
